McDonald’s Has Announced Plans Of ATM’s To Dispense Free Big Macs
Be still my beating heart, for an instantaneous Big Mac machine is now a thing. Having unveiled the grub in two new sizes at the tail-end of 2016, McDonald’s has announced plans to dispense its iconic burger via a digital, first-of-its-kind ATM setup.
According to The Boston Globe, the blessed machine will be placed in Boston’s Kenmore Square between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. on January 31. After the consumer inputs their Twitter details, a Tweet will be sent out from their account advertising the new burger. Like magic, the Big Mac is then released completely free of charge. Such convenience is great news for lazy stoners and people who generally hate human interaction, but probably awful news on a wider level as society trudges towards an automated workforce.
McDonald’s has yet to announce whether additional restaurants in other cities will be taking part. Be sure to check out the new tech if you’re in the Boston area today — you might want to bring some extra Big Mac sauce along for the ride.
